AMSTERDAM (26 June 2018) - Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced to have signed a development agreement of over 70,000 square meters with a provider of high-tech electronics. The new facility (DC8) will be located at Green Port Lane at Trade Port Noord in Venlo.
Four units
Prologis constructs a 90,000 square meter state-of-the-art distribution facility of which the new customer will lease 70,000 square meters which is equivalent to leasing 3 out of the 4 units of the building. The remaining 18,000 square meters will be built on risk and will be available for the market in April 2019.
Long-term partnership
“The partnership with this customer, which already exists at a global level, now includes Venlo, a logistics hotspot in the Netherlands. We look forward to expanding this relationship further. We are also delighted to announce that we can expand the building by another 100,000 square meters”, says Bram Verhoeven, country manager Prologis Benelux.
