AMSTERDAM (14 November 2018) - Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced that Prologis has acquired two logistics facilities in the Port of Rotterdam at Distripark Eemhaven (DC11 and DC12) with a total size of approximately 16,000 square meters.
Redevelopment
Prologis DC11 is a 2.4-hectare redevelopment site that comprises 12,000 square meter of logistics space. Prologis will redevelop the existing building into a premier high throughput facility that canbe used for cross-dock type activities. The building can be divided easily into three units. The building benefits from a unique dock ratio and consists of flexible rectangular units without any columns to maximize operational efficiency. The project is scheduled for completion by Q2 2019. The building will be redeveloped to high specifications and feature a range of state-of-the-art sustainability features to improve energy efficiency and environmental footprint.
The other acquired premises, DC12, is a 4,000 square meter fully leased logistics facility that will be upgraded over the next years as part of Prologis’ sustainable development strategy.
High sustainability standards

Prologis Park Eemhaven Prologis owns ten buildings at Prologis Eemhaven Park. With the addition of DC11 and DC12, the park grows to approximately 167,000 square meters of logistics space, including offices and mezzanine floors. Prologis European Logistics Fund (PELF) is the purchaser in both transactions.
