Arthur van Kooij, VP Project Management Northern Europe, leads the overall management of developments in Northern Europe, overseeing multiple projects from initiatation to completion. He ensures that projects run efficiently, on time and on budget, while also meeting stringent quality standards. During his time with Prologis, van Kooij has gained over 600,000 square meters in project development experience.
Van Kooij maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout every project and challenges project teams to exceed expectations. With his technical expertise, enthusiasm and passion for building, he drives innovation with a strong focus on design, sustainability, technology and well-being.
Prior to joining Prologis, van Kooij held the positions of technical manager at CB Richard Ellis and project manager at Bovis Lend Lease. He joined AMB Property Corporation (which later merged with ProLogis to become Prologis) in December 2006 as technical associate, development and operations Benelux. In 2008, he transferred from project manager to become the director project management Benelux in 2011.In 2015, van Kooij was promoted to VP project management Benelux.
Van Kooij holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Hague University and a post-graduate diploma in the master course of civil engineering management and technology from the University of Arnhem and Nijmegen and South Bank University London.
